The Black and Blum charcoal filter is easy to use – you simply place it in a jug filled with 1.5 litres of water, wait for between one to eight hours for the maximum benefit, and then enjoy the refreshing taste. After three months, you can extend the life of the stick by boiling it in a saucepan of water or ten minutes. You can do this several times.
The Binchotan charcoal filter really does make tap water taste cleaner and sweeter than unfiltered tap water. The only negative is that the appearance of the black stick in the water jug can look a little surprising at first!
This filter offers great tasting water at a fraction of the price of other water filtration methods. It’s a natural method that is completely biodegradable and there are even suggestions of recycling possibilities mentioned on the packaging. Ideal as part of an ethical and healthy lifestyle without breaking the bank.
