Is that someone’s missing dentures? Erm…no. This lookalike denture is actually a BladeBrush Knife and Cutlery Cleaner by Joseph Joseph. Made from tough and durable plastic, it’s designed similar to dentures as it gives a more comfortable, safer and ergonomical use when cleaning knives and other cutlery.
The design enables it to fit into any sized hand comfortably and the textured grip prevents it from slipping out of your hand during use. This helps to prevent nasty accidents especially when you’re cleaning a sharp knife.
Instead of fake teeth in the ‘mouth’ there are brush bristles where the knife or cutlery is fitted in for cleaning. As the bristles are closely fitted together, this helps to really get in between the nooks and crannies of knives and forks to get rid of stuck or dried food bits. Yuck, you don’t want to be eating that.
Technically you could clean knives easily with a scourer but it takes up more time as you have to do one side at a time otherwise you end up cutting yourself. Innovatively designed, the BladeBrush provides a quicker and much safer way to clean blades with less effort. That means less time spent on washing up since there are better things to spend your time on.
